Beginner 1x1 Ribbed Dishcloth

1x1 Ribbed Dishcloth [Ravel-It!]

This is a dishcloth I started making from this Lion Brand pattern, and ended up with something different. It's very simple, great beginner cloth. I'm not sure if it has been done before. Here is the pattern:

Size 7 knitting needles
Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn

cast on 46
rows 1 & 2: knit across
every row, until the last 2 rows: knit 2, *knit 1, purl 1; repeat from * across to last 2 stitches, knit 2.
last 2 rows: knit across
