I just made this with some left over cotton yarn I had and it turned out great! I love using the hair rubber bands instead of having to add elastic after it's done, this is the reason I chose to make this one. I always have extra hair ties!!Thank you for the pattern!
After making one bag holder, I modified the pattern a bit -- maybe it's just the way my brain works. Rounds 1-3 I only ch 2. At the end of round 3, I placed a marker & then DC in each DC in rounds to row 27. Since the pattern is in rounds, I decided to skip the sl to ch & see what happened -- no seam. After attaching the 2nd band, I sl around each sc, then ch 25, attach chain about an 1 in. from start of chain & sl across ch, then fasten off. That way I can put the shorter loop over the door knob.
